Florida Wildflower Studios provides art classes, exhibits, and competitions to strengthen a sense of community and a place to belong. Come grow with us in downtown Frostproof Florida.
Florida Wildflower Studios is proud to feature the Art of Encaustic Artist Francine Michel from St Petersburg, Florida. Francine is a member of the Florida Wax Community. Encaustic is a unique painting process involving the use of rice paper, ink, encaustic wax and watercolor. Francine creates abstract paintings based on observations of the natural world using unexpected color, shapes and perspectives. Join us for a Meet and Greet Reception Friday March 28, 5pm. Join us for a FREE Demonstration with Francine, Thursday, April 10 starting at 1pm. Francine will demonstrate to us how encaustic wax art is created.
Then sign up for the Encaustic Workshop on Friday, April 11, 10-Noon.

By Painting a flower on the 5" x 5" square, you will be helping to support your local art community. Be one of the First and Select your Square, $5 per square. This Collaborative effort helps support, encourage and fertilize artists members and their benefits. Thank You for helping us keep art growing in the community. The 35"x35" canvas will be displayed in the Gray Gallery Summer Exhibit, "FLOWERS & INSECTS", June through August.
GIRLS SUMMER ART for grade 6-12th. June,10-13, 10-2pm. All four days, $35-member, $40 nonmember.
Florida Wildflowers, Insects & Endangered Plants will be our focus for art projects and education.
Girls should bring a lunch. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
JUNE-AUGUST- WILDFLOWERS & INSECTS. All are welcome to contribute to this fun/free exhibit. Let fill the Studio with flowerly love.
Our art classes, led by seasoned artists, cover a variety of media such as Acrylic, watercolor and oil painting, drawing, pottery, and printmaking, catering to all skill levels.
