ANYTIME is a good time to get off the beaten path and go exploring.
A CALL FOR ARTISTS; Our 7TH Annual Winter Art Show & Competition 2024, Sponsored by The Maxcy Foundation and Citizens Bank. The event theme for 2024 will be FLORIDA BYWAYS, so, get out and explore. Go off the beaten path and become inspired; there’s so much to see and discover before it disappears.
Art entries of any size or media must be created after February 2023. Art must be display-ready and properly framed, (NO saw-tooth hangers. Entry fee $10-member, $15 non-member, includes two entries. Drop off, Jan. 2, 2024, through Jan. 5, 9-5pm. The Patricia Maxcy Wilson Memorial Awards Presentation and Reception will be held Friday, Feb. 23, 2024, 5pm.
A CALL FOR Art Students from Ms. Pagen’s FROSTPROOF MIDDLE SCHOOL Art Class: These students are invited to enter the Florida Wildflower Studios Special Featured Students’ Art Show with cash prizes, sponsored by the Robert MacMillan Memorial Fund here at FWS, a fund created to enhance art education in our community. This judged show will also feature a “PEOPLES CHOICE” Award. Entries due January 2-5. Awards ceremony 2-23-24.
COMING TO THE GRAY GALLERY, “Contemporary Primitive”, The creative experiments of Robert Bullock will be exhibited October 2 through November 30, 2023. An Artist’s reception will be held Friday, October 27, 5pm – 8pm. There will be a musical performance by our favorite Blues Band, “The Plankspankers”.
