TUESDAYS DRAWING WITH LYLE

10-noon. $5-member, $10 nonmember.  Learn the foundations of drawing with guidance from Lyle as he covers essential skills like perspective, proportion, shadows, and form. It’s a great class for building confidence and strengthening your technique, no matter your experience level. Drawing paper and pencils are provided. This is a chance to sharpen your skills through focused, self-motivated study alongside other like-minded artists.

MASTERING THE COLOR WHEEL

DICHRONIC FUSED GLASS LOVERS

Discover the magic of dichroic fused glass in this hands-on class. Students will explore layering, cutting, and fusing vibrant dichroic glass to create a shimmering finished piece. GYOTAKU

GYOTAKU with Deborah Boone, Tuesday, March 10, 10-noon. The art of Gyotaku, a Japanese word Gyo means fish and Taku means rubbing.  

Discover Gyotaku, the traditional Japanese art of fish printing. Learn how this centuries-old technique was once used by fishermen to record their catches, and create your own unique fish print in this hands-on class.

HOW DO I USE A PALETTE KNIFE

with Sharon, Monday, April 20, 1-4pm $40-member, $50 nonmember. Can I use a palette knife for more than mixing paint? The answer is absolutely.  In fact, in this class you will create an acrylic paint artwork using only palette knives on an 11” x 14” stretched canvas.  No brushes allowed. Develop the skill to use your palette knives for backgrounds, midgrounds, and foregrounds. 

IS THE FLORIDA SWAMP HOUSE MOVE IN READY?
